Races of Middle-Earth: ELVES

ELVES

Elves, aka the Unfallen Race, can be considered as angels of Middle-Earth. Their race is all together graceful, timeless, heavenly and mysterious. Elves are the oldest and wisest among all dwellers.

They are highly inclined in arts and lore. No doubt that elves are powerful creatures gifted with sharp senses.

They're divided into two branches: The West-Elves (Eldar) and the East-Elves (those from Mirkwood and Lorien). There are two elven languages: the High-elven (Quenya), considered to be an ancient tongue and the Grey-elven (Sindarin).

Every elf's desire is to move unto the Grey Havens when they grew tired of the mortal lands.

Races of Middle-Earth: DWARVES

DWARVES

The dwarves are a race of robust underground inhabitants who spend their lives mining precious treasures like Mithril, a light but resilient, priceless metal. The race's origin is enigmatic and is not well-discovered. Men foolishly believed that they are born out of the rocks because there are very few female Dwarves.

They are known for their excellent craftsmanship. The weapons and armor they've built are renowned . They are also extremely good diggers and are gifted with extraordinary engineering skills.

Gimli, son of Gloin, will be regarded as Elf-friend because of the strong bond of friendship he will eventually establish with Legolas (both are members of the Fellowship of the Ring) and his veneration to the Lady Galadriel.

Arwen's Song | LOTR: Return of the King OST

Arwen's Song
by Liv Tyler

LOTR: The Return of the King Official Soundtrack

I personally love this song. Actually sung by Arwen herself, Liv Tyler. A very soothing music. The Lord of the Rings trilogy soundtrack is one of the best and powerful music for a film ever composed. Thanks to the very talented Howard Shore.
